UNCAGE drops a super slick EP from Berlin based Irish DJ producer, Hybrasil, which comes complete with remixes by Gene Richards Jr and label boss himself, Marco Faraone. After relocating to Berlin back in 2018 Irish DJ producer Will Kinsella aka Hybrasil soon joined the Rekids family, delivering several high quality release on the label and he has followed that on Awesome Soundwave, on his own self titled imprint, Hybrasil and now on Faraone’s highly regarded, UNCAGE.

For his debut release on UNCAGE, Hybrasil has delivered two deep smooth hypnotic yet raw techno tracks in the form of Stellar Variation and Leibig. The title track of the EP, Stellar Variation, is a classy kick drum led techno affair, with old school bass notes and hypnotic filtered chord structure delivering an amazing fluid journey. The Second track on the EP is Leibig, a deeper more stripped track laced with soulful, utilising LFO oscillators to create that essential hypnotic trip.

On the flip side we have two killer remixes the first is from Gene Richard JR, who is no stranger to the UNCAGE family. He delivers an explosive and raw remix of Stellar Variation, driving drum patterns, ride cymbals and exquisite arrangement this is a peak time weapon of dance floor destruction. The second remix is label boss, Marco Faraone’s remix of Leibig. For his remix he adds a more industrial saturated flavour to the originals parts, giving this a big room peak time twisted techno feel and completes the package to perfection.
